Corporate Benefits Authority is an Employee Benefits Design and Consulting Firm. We are exclusively dedicated to reducing the financial burden for sixteen specific industries, that resulted from the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Of the 3,646 unique NAICS codes, 16 share a distinguishing trait that makes ACA compliance a daunting task.

 

Whether intended or not, the requirements necessary to achieve ACA compliance has created nothing short of a monumental burden for these companies. ALTERNATIVE CLAIMS ADJUDICATION MODELS

Corporate Benefits Authority utilizes innovative methods and models for the adjudication of medical claims.  While maintaining strict ACA compliance, Corporate Benefits Authority has pioneered new strategies in reference-based pricing models, and Medicare Plus claims re-pricing and adjudication. Then, by leveraging technology with smartphone apps, your employees can immediately access a network of practitioners and facilities that will accept our claims payment as final, without balance billing issues for the patient.

EMPLOYEE PLAN SELECTIONS AND PLAN MATRICES  

While The ACA requires an employer to offer an array of medical plans which have: Minimum Essential Coverage, meet or exceed 60% Minimum Value and are Affordable, employees are free to pick any program that they find suitable to their individual and family needs. By offering MEC compliant plans that are very attractive to the hourly employee but require no employer contribution, Corporate Benefits Authority can significantly reduce company benefit expense by driving a benefit plan matrix where only a small fraction of the total participants select a plan that requires an employer contribution.

CLAIMS REDIRECTION STRATEGIES

With seamless integration and strong employee incentives to use Telemedicine whenever it is appropriate, Corporate Benefits Authority can redirect as much claims expense away from a plan, whether it be full insured or self funded. This redirection results in lower costs for self-funded programs, and the lowest PPO premiums in the country.

SMART PLAN DESIGNS  

Utilizing proprietary cost saving initiatives, Corporate Benefits Authority integrates subtle,  but cost-reducing plan design strategies into every program. This results in substantially lower total cost, without being intrusive or causing any hardships to the plan member. Some examples may include limitations on the number of primary care and specialist visits allowed annually under the deductible,  careful selection of services with deductible waivers, and zero cost and unlimited use of Telemedicine for the primary care needs for both employee and their entire family.

COMPLIANT PPO PLANS

Corporate Benefits Authority offers full PPO plans that are completely compliant with the requirements of the ACA. Whether it be a high deductible or platinum plan, Our premiums are approximately 60% of the national average for comparable coverage. Our fully insured  PPO uses the most extensive preferred provider network in the country, and is accepted by more than 700,000 doctors and hospitals. Amazingly we are able to maintain this pricing advantage, while imposing no minimum participation requirements on our groups.
